Stress and sleep reset
A quieter, shorter programme built around rest: calming massages, Shirodhara, gentle yoga and a steady daily rhythm. A doctor sees you at the start and through the stay and adjusts the treatments.
- How long
- 7β14 days
- Price, per guest
- $2,850β$13,400
- Best for
- People who are run down, stressed or sleeping badly and want a structured break
Stage by stage
What happens, and when.
Days 1β2
Settling in
Consultation, light treatments and a daily routine. Most people sleep a lot in the first days.
Days 3β10
Daily rhythm
Morning yoga, one or two treatments a day, often including Shirodhara, quiet afternoons and early nights.
Last days
Going home
A final consultation and a simple routine to keep going at home.
A guide, not a fixed schedule: the centre's doctor sets your programme and changes it as you go. Longest stays run to 14 days.
The treatments
In plain words.
Ayurveda uses Sanskrit and Malayalam names. Here's what each one actually is.
Abhyanga
warm oil massage, often by two therapists together
Shirodhara
a slow, steady stream of warm oil (or buttermilk, takradhara) over the forehead
Gentle yoga, breathing practice (pranayama) and guided relaxation (yoga nidra)
Regular meals and bedtimes, with very little screen time
Is it for you?
Who it suits, and who should wait.
Usually a good fit
- People who feel exhausted, wired or flat after a long stretch of pressure
- Light or broken sleep, where your own doctor has ruled out medical causes
- Anyone who'd benefit from a week or two of routine, quiet and no screens
Talk to your doctor first, or wait
- Pregnancy, or trying to conceive during the stay
- Recent surgery, or an operation planned soon
- Serious heart, kidney or liver disease, or cancer under active treatment, unless your own doctor agrees
- Diabetes, blood pressure or other conditions that aren't under control
- Depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions that need treatment: see your own doctor first. This is a rest, not therapy

Questions
Is a week enough?
A week gives you a real break and a taste of the routine. Two weeks gives the routine time to settle. Your doctor can suggest which fits.
Do I have to give up my phone?
Most centres ask you to keep it to a minimum, and some don't allow phones in shared spaces. Many guests find this is the most useful part.
Which visa do I need?
For treatment at an Ayurveda centre, India's official e-Visa site lists an e-Medical visa for Ayush (traditional Indian medicine) purposes, which needs a letter from the centre. Eligibility depends on your passport, the same as for other e-Visas. We check which visa fits your stay and get the centre's letter for you.
Is it safe if I have a health condition?
Tell your own doctor before you book, and tell the centre's doctor everything you take. Keep taking prescribed medicines unless your own doctor says otherwise. Some stays aren't suitable in pregnancy, after recent surgery or with serious heart, kidney or liver disease.
Can Ayurveda cure my condition?
We don't make that claim, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Many people find a stay restful and helpful. Evidence for many treatments is limited, and Ayurveda isn't a replacement for medical care.

Tell us when you could travel and what you'd like from the stay. We'll suggest centres and send written prices.
