Questions
Questions from Saudi Arabia
How long is the flight from Riyadh / Jeddah to Delhi?
About 4 h 30 m–5 h non-stop. A typical economy return costs roughly $350–$700, depending on season and how far ahead you book.
Can people from Saudi Arabia get an e-Medical visa for India?
Not at the moment. Saudi Arabia isn't on India's e-Visa list, so you apply for a regular medical visa through the Embassy of India in Riyadh or the Consulate General in Jeddah (or their visa application centres), with the hospital's invitation letter. Allow more time than for an e-Visa. Up to two family members can come on medical attendant visas.
How much does a knee replacement trip from Saudi Arabia cost?
As a planning range, about $4,900–$13,200 for the whole trip: the hospital package ($2,400–$8,000), return flights, about 21 days of accommodation and food, tests, visa, insurance and our fixed fee. The hospital confirms the real price after reviewing your reports.
Which currency are prices in?
You can see prices in SAR on this site; hospitals usually quote in US dollars. The riyal is pegged to the dollar, so the conversion is exact. You pay the hospital directly.
Will someone speak my language?
Arabic, English. Large Delhi hospitals also have interpreters at their international desks; Tell us what you need when you ask for a quote.
Can a family member come with me?
Yes. Up to two family members can travel with you on medical attendant visas linked to yours. Many patients from the Gulf bring one person; we plan the stay for both of you.
Can I come for a short trip?
For health check-ups and many dental treatments, yes: a long weekend is often enough. Surgery needs longer, mostly for recovery before you fly. Each treatment guide shows a day-by-day plan.
